April 26, 2011


We were going for a McGriddles kind of thing this week. It ended up a little out of hand. The burger ended up a little bigger and sloppier than we had hoped. I was told it was delicious. It is nestled in between two giant buttermilk pancakes with raspberry-jalapeƱo jam, a patty, bacon, scrambled eheddar eggs, sausage gravy & maple syrup. 
This is a roll of packing tape to give a idea of how big the whole thing was.

You can see the patty in there. That is a half pound burger completely dwarfed by the rest of the stuff.

This week's Buckburger was a little difficult to compose. Sometimes inspiration is hard to find. We want to be original but ....oh whatever...Buck just wanted some mushrooms this week. So we made a beef stroganoff type thing comprised of mushrooms and beef tips in a red wine, mushroom stock and cream sauce, and paired it with some dirty fries. The the burger has the patty, bacon, swiss, the stroganoff, tomato, micro greens, chive sour cream, the dirty fries (which have fries, bacon, onion, tomato and cheddar) & some more chive sour cream. He crushed this monstrosity in about 6 minutes.

Buck works at Collegetown Bagels and has a sandwich there named after him....The Big Buck. It is usually served in a wrap with eggs, onions, peppers and sausage. Since we get bagels from CTB we decided to incorporate their Big Buck into the Buckburger. I give you....The Big Buckburger!

This behemoth is a full size bacon cheeseburger with a Big Buck bagel sandwich slapped in the middle. It has, like, 9 servings of bread!!

Sorry for the late update. Busy at the Bandwagon this week. This weeks Buckburger has BBQ sauce, the patty, swiss, a tuna steak, coconut shrimp, micro greens, a potato cheddar wonton, spinach, onions & garlic mayo.

Sorry for the late update. It has been a crazy week at the Bandwagon.

This weeks Buckburger has malt vinegar aioli, bacon, potato cheddar wonton, fried catfish, the patty, swiss, a grilled balsamic onion patty, more swiss, onion rings, tomato, micro greens & garlic mayo.

He almost couldn't fit the whole thing in his mouth. It would not smoosh very well.
